You’ll work with white earthenware clay to create sgraffito forms (hearts, circles, squares) — designed to be hung on the wall or used as beautiful handmade coasters.
You’ll start by shaping smooth clay then coat them in coloured slip.
Once they’re ready, you’ll learn the sgraffito technique — carving through the colour to reveal the pale clay beneath. This is where the magic happens:
names, initials, dates, love notes, secret messages, symbols, inside jokes, tiny declarations… or something a bit spicy if the mood strikes.
The session is relaxed, beginner-friendly and intimate, with plenty of time to play, laugh and connect.
When the workshop ends, we take care of drying, glazing and firing. Your hearts will be transformed into glossy, tactile ceramic pieces.
