Handmade Christmas Decoration Workshop
Make something for the tree that you’ll be bringing out for years. Join us for a couple of hours of clay, colour and Christmas decorating, with a cup of tea and a mince pie along the way.
You’ll make up to six hanging decorations from scratch, rolling and cutting soft clay before adding patterns, textures and personal touches. Think stars, hearts, little houses and Christmas trees — stamp in a name, mark a first Christmas together, or make a set to give to someone you love.
We’ll show you how to use the cutters, stamps and tools, then you can get stuck into your own designs. Once they’re made, you’ll paint them with colourful underglazes, ready for us to glaze and fire in the kiln.
Come with friends or take a couple of hours for yourself. No pottery experience needed, and plenty of help and examples will be on hand.

Price: £40 per person
You’ll make: Up to six small ceramic hanging decorations
Included: Tuition, clay, tools, underglaze colours, glazing and kiln firing, plus tea or coffee and a mince pie
Collection: Approximately 4 weeks later (or sooner in time for Christmas!). We’ll contact you when your decorations are ready.
